Fwa Twa Ou Kriye
A song inspired by the story I'm developing in the second book in my teen urban fantasy series. (Lyrics by me, music by Suno.com)
I wrote this song to be a part of the second book in the series. It has several meanings depending on context. I wrote this in Haitian Kreyol as part of the back story (pirates, Caribbean, all that jazz). At base, it's a father's lament for his daughter. The title translates to “Three Times You Cried” and I use the form of three a lot in this series, it's a fantasy after all. At first he gives her his heart, then his comfort, then he let's her go. This can take form in many happy ways and many tragic. This also has meaning for the protagonist in terms of forgiveness. That's a lot to cram into a story about ghost pirates but I think it'll be great. Full Playlist
