All My Books & Series
Everything I'm writing, where to find it, and what to read first.
I write… a variety of genres. Usually science fiction, but my biggest project to date has been historical fantasy with horror themes and a basis in mythology. But no matter how you dress my stories up, they’re always about people who don’t fit—in their families, their centuries, their own skin. Both series below are character-driven, mythology-adjacent, and feature at least one father who probably shouldn’t be a father—Freud might have an explanation for that one. You’ve been warned.
More series or one-off novellas are in the works. This page updates when they’re ready to be seen.
The Shadowmancer Chronicles
YA Historical Fantasy / Horror · Seven-Book Series
1921 coastal Massachusetts. Fifteen-year-old Mattie Mae Albright answers a call she shouldn’t — and the gods answer back.
Mattie is anxious, grieving, and sharper than anyone around her gives her credit for. When something ancient starts bleeding through the walls of Arkham, she doesn’t get a clean hero’s journey. She gets a descent — modeled on the Sumerian myth of Inanna, seven books, seven things relinquished.
Written for the kids who felt wrong. Who read the room right but got misread anyway. Who felt things too loudly in a world that kept asking them to be quieter.
What’s available now: The first seven chapters of The Call of Mammitum (Book 1) are live on Substack as a teaser. Publishing strategy in progress — subscribe to stay ahead of the launch.
There’s also: Original lyrics written by me and composed by robots for the series, mythology deep-dives, and craft essays on how the sausage is made.

The Girl with the Cybernetic Eye
Adult Sci-Fi Serial · Trilogy Planned · Maybe More After
She stole the wrong keycard on Enceladus Station. Everything after that is her problem.
Simonee Saran looks like she knows exactly what she’s doing. She doesn’t. This is the origin story of how she ended up aboard the Fénix — told across a full serial that’s already live, already has readers, and is heading to market.
Part of the Starscribes Collaboration Universe. Prequel to The Fénix Saga. But you don’t need any of that context to start here — Simonee is the context.
It’s adult sci-fi about imposter syndrome, the specific exhaustion of performing competence when you’re terrified you have none, and the found families you stumble into when you’re running from something else.
What’s available now: The Ice Princess of Enceladus Station (Book 1) is complete and live on Substack and undergoing additional editorial mangling for launch on all the things. The Cannibal of Cloud Ball 9 (Book 2) is being released one chapter per week(ish).
There’s also: Original music, and at least one Polish-Mexican fusion recipe, because Carlos likes to cook.

One Off Books and Novellas
More books are coming. Like most writers, ideas aren’t the problem and I’m not betting on one horse.
